The last time the franchise won its first four games to open a season was 1985-86, when it started 5-0. Los Angeles, which has gotten off to its hot start despite the absence of All- Star forward Elton Brand, has taken the first two games of its current road trip through the Midwest, and will head to Detroit Friday to complete the swing.
