David West scored 33 points Tuesday as the New Orleans Hornets remained perfect in overtime this season with a 103-100 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Devin Brown added 25 points and nine rebounds for New Orleans, which is 7-0 in overtime games and climbed within a game of Golden State for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
West had seven points in OT for the Hornets, who won for the fifth time in six games after almost blowing a big lead in the overtime.
Elton Brand had 37 points and 10 rebounds for the Los Angeles Clippers, who fell a half-game behind the Warriors. Corey Maggette added 24 points for Los Angeles, which has lost three games in a row.
