Corey Maggette - Los ANgeles ClippersCorey Maggette was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the first round (13th overall) of the 1999 NBA Draft...Corey Maggette's drafted rights traded by the Seattle SuperSonics along with the contracts to Billy Owens, Dale Ellis and Don MacLean to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Horace Grant and 2001 and 2002 second-round draft picks on (June 30, 1999)...Corey Maggette was traded by the Magic to the L.os Angeles Clippers with Strong and the rights to Keyon Dooling in exchange for a future protected first-round pick on (June 28, 2000)...Corey Maggette was re-signed with the Clippers to a multi-year contract on (July 29, 2003).

Along with teammate Elton Brand, Corey Maggette is also notable as one of the first Duke players under Mike Krzyzewski to leave before the end of his athletic eligibility.

Corey Antoine Maggette (born November 12, 1979 in Melrose Park, Illinois, U.S.) is an American professional basketball player, positioned at small forward for the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers. He was originally selected with the 13th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft out of Duke University by the Seattle SuperSonics, and was immediately traded to the Orlando Magic.

During his career with the Clippers, Corey Maggette has established himself as a solid forward and developed into a perennial 20+ per game scorer. Known for his tremendous ability to create contact and get to the free throw line, Corey Maggette is consistently among the league leaders in free throws attempted and made. He experienced a banner year in 2004-2005 touting career highs in points, rebounds, assists and free throw percentage while leading the Clippers to a 37-45 record, one of their best showings in years. Corey Maggette bothered by a nagging foot injury, however, he has sat out much of the 2005-2006 campaign. However, Corey Maggette returned to the court strongly. Corey currently comes off the bench in the 2006 NBA Playoffs.
